There is nothing I love more than getting people a unique one-of-a-kind or extraordinarily uncommon gift. Pair that with a small local business, and I am a sucker for your product!
1. Jewelry – Who doesn’t love this? I met Tamara, a fellow Point Park University momma, almost 7 years ago. She is an amazing Crystal Jewelry Artisan & Designer and Metalsmither. Is that how you say it? Not sure, I digress… she has made probably close to 100 pieces for me and my family over the years, including necklaces, bracelets, earrings, rings, and so much more. Back before borders were closed, she would journey out to the mountains, meet the locals, and travel in with them to hand mine her own stones. She has such amazing stories of where pieces had come from. It is those relationships that allow her to still get the most unique stones and create the most beautiful pieces. Reach out to her! She does custom work or shop her available pieces!
2. Olive and Sinclair Chocolate – I stumbled into their factory quite by mistake! I had some friends that wanted to see Nashville, and while there we had an AirBnB near a place that had a gluten-free restaurant and coffee shop. The rest was delicious in my tummy history! This is the south’s first bean-to-bar chocolate company. They grind the cacao using the same method as stone-ground grits, pure cane sugar- NO CRAP! They also have the most delicious DUCK FAT CARAMELS that fill my husband’s stocking every year! It’s just the best! perfect for when you want a sweet treat without all the toxic crap!
3. SOCKS! No Holiday is complete in the Marsh household without a new set of SOCKS! With the bottoms of your feet being so receptive to chemicals and also reflecting back to your body’s health with reflexology, what better way to take care of it than organic socks?! For those who didn’t know, Ft. Payne, AL used to be the hosiery capital of the US, then came China. Determined to find a way to continue the family’s tradition of making socks, as well as sustainable living, Zkano was born. Using organic cotton grown in Texas and spun and dyed in the south, these organic cotton socks are a treat for every feet! Coupon for shopping
